Squad 1
Squad 1 comprises our most senior athletes, who are competing at National and International events. These athletes are aged between 13 and 19, and compete in the National Level 10, Future International, Junior International and Senior International categories. They are recognised as some of Australia’s most exciting Women’s Artistic Gymnasts and are regularly selected to travel to the AIS in Canberra to attend international training camps.
Several of our Squad 1 athletes have been nationally categorised by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), including Olena Edmeades who has been selected into the Paris 2024 Olympic training squad.
