WAG Series #4 & #5
One of the highlights of this year’s junior competition season has been how our junior squad athletes have bonded as a team, and how they have supported their each other throughout. The team spirit is strong with these girls - and you can hear it (very) loud and clear !!
WAG Series #4
We had a great turnout from the club to watch our Level 3 and Level 4 athletes compete at WAG Series #4, where we saw some beautiful quality routines from our emerging talent.
Well done to everyone, you all worked very hard and the coaching team are very proud of all of you. Special mention to:
Kayla (L4) - 3rd Vault
Saskia (L4) - 4th AA: 2nd Beam, 6th Vault,
WAG Series #5
Next up was our Level 6 and Level 5 athletes competing at the WAG Series #5. Western Australia has some talented gymnasts developing through the National Levels programs so competition is always strong, but PGA’s athletes stepped out with poise and confidence and performed some lovely routines:
Mia (L6) - 2nd AA: 2nd Floor, 3rd Beam, 4th Vault
Grace (L5) - 2nd AA: 1st Vault, 3rd Beam, 3rd Floor
Olivia C (L5) - 4th AA: 5th Beam, 6th Bars
Simona (L5) - 6th AA: 2nd Floor, 4th Vault
Sunny (L5) 1st Beam, 6th Bars
Olivia D (L5) - 3rd Bars, 5th Floor
A huge well done also to Zoe, who competed her Level 5 routines for the first time - it was great to have the whole squad together.
Again, thank you to all the PGA athletes, parents, friends, and families who came down to cheer the girls on.
